At the age of 12, Meresha recorded "Fool Don't Be" in a CD booth at a mall. By the time she was 15, the singer and multi-instrumentalist uprooted her family from Warsaw, Poland, and headed for Florida. For her first EP, Lunatic, she wrote, sang, produced, and played all the instruments. While her deep, soulful voice recalled a young Annie Lennox or Katy Perry, her quirky sonic vision drew comparisons to Björk and Lorde. By the following year, she'd gained a modest following on social media and airplay for "New Revolution." In 2015, she released a like-titled EP with a forward-thinking pop vibe that carried into 2016 with "My Love Has Come" and "Together"/"Juntos." The Enter the Dreamland EP followed in 2017. ~ Neil Z.
