In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was obsessed with the Jurassic Park soundtrack. Unfortunately, I was in a small town and there was only one record store, and they kept telling me they'd get it next week, but never did. To this day, I still don't have it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Williams, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Michael Jackson, Bad (25th Anniversary Edition) Stephen Sondheim, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (The Motion Picture Soundtrack) Bad was the first album I bought, and it set a standard for my early music taste. Star Wars was the first album to get me interested in film scoring. Sweeney Todd is one of those scores I listen to and go like well I totally cannot do that.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It was an amazing feeling to watch my opera performed at the Brooklyn Museum in NYC!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing, and hope to have one of my shows on Broadway someday!
