Michael Jackson, Thriller Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) Whitney Houston, Whitney Houston Whitney’s debut taught me how to sing with emotion and power—I could feel every word she sang. Thriller showed me how to push boundaries creatively. And Sade’s timeless smoothness taught me the beauty of restraint and intimacy in music.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most unforgettable moments in my career was when my song “Physical” debuted at #13 on the Billboard R&B Song Sales Chart—right above Doja Cat, The Weeknd, and Alicia Keys. I’ll never forget that feeling of standing tall among giants.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? At the top of my bucket list is winning a Grammy.
