A dark folk, country, and Gothic blues project that started as an offshoot for Nergal, who is best known as the frontman of Polish black metal group Behemoth, Me and That Man emerged in 2017 with Songs of Love and Death.
Looking to artists like Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, and Nick Cave for inspiration, the group issued the features-heavy New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol. 1 in 2020, followed by New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol. 2 in 2021.
Members of Me and That Man include, or have included, John Porter and Nergal.
