Hip-hop-leaning J-Pop boy band DA PUMP was formed in 1996, when the members met at the Okinawa Actors School entertainment academy.

∙ The group choreographed the video for J-Pop idol group SKE48’s No. 1 hit “Soyutokoaruyone?” in 2019.
