Mexican rapper and songwriter MC Davo is known for his lightning-fast flow and propulsive music, which incorporates elements of hip-hop and reggaetón.
∙ His first single after signing with a major label, the ’90s hip-hop throwback “Andamos de Parranda,” reached No. 12 on Billboard’s Mexico Pop Espanol Airplay chart.
∙ Hip-hop magazine Ritmo Urbano awarded him Best Album of the Year in 2013 and 2014 for the full-lengths Psicosis 2 and El Dominio.
∙ El Dominio reached No. 4 on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Albums chart.
∙ He was nominated as an up-and-coming artist at the 2016 Premios Juventud, which recognizes the best Spanish-language sports and entertainment.
