In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. “Desperate Youth” by Santigold was the first song I bought on iTunes. I remember putting it on my iPod mostly because it was what my dad played while he worked on his art. That song made me connect to the world of creativity I wanted to be part of.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Circle” I wrote this song when my grandpa passed and I moved into my grandma's house in a pretty uninspiring town. I felt like I was stuck in a depression ”circle” and this song was a vent to god. That’s about it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Going on tour for the first time, I felt like I grew so much in such a short amount of time. It pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are too many things to name, but I know for sure—I’m ready for another project.
