In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I attended The Rolling Stones' "Bigger Bang" tour with my father when I was a teenager.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Prince, The Very Best of Prince Sharon Van Etten, Remind Me Tomorrow The Rolling Stones, Sticky Fingers (2015 Remaster) Remastered The reason I chose these three albums is that they’ve had a tremendous influence on my music creation. Prince, in particular, has been my biggest inspiration.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “くじらの跳躍” Whales and the deep ocean floor are part of my inner landscape and have been themes of my creations since childhood.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? During Maki Morimoto’s photo exhibition "DAWN BLUE" at the hair salon Banksia in Shibuya, we held a one-night-only live performance as a collaboration between the sisters, combining photography and music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to hold a concert that expresses "the ocean" and "whales," which are the roots and inner landscapes of my creative journey.
