Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Matt Barr, discovered his love for music at 8 when he picked up his grandfather's 1942 Gibson guitar. Despite growing up in a family of athletes, he was fueled by his father's drumming in church. By 10, he was writing songs and winning talent shows.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Diamond Rio, Diamond Rio John Mayer, The Collection: John Mayer Travis Tritt, The Essentials: Travis Tritt Diamond Rio was a first inspiration for music in our family atmosphere growing up. Travis Tritt's unique masculine sound made impressions on me with his lyrics and vulnerability.. Mayer's guitar and abstract lyrics resonated with my bluesy style.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Watching my best friend record his album in Nashville at Oceanway and then a few months later him watching me record my album at SonyTree Nashville!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A top dream of mine is to play my original songs at the Ryman Auditorium.
