Marwan Abu-Tahoun Recio is a singer, songwriter, and poet of Palestinian and Spanish roots. Inspired by Joan Manuel Serrat and Ismael Serrano as well as English and Spanish rock, he released the self-produced demo album Principio y Fin in 2004. Slowly but steadily, Marwan became a staple of the local circuit of clubs and festivals, and began to earn praise among the new generation of Spanish singer/songwriters. In 2011 he achieved mainstream recognition for the first time when he simultaneously published his third album, Las Cosas Que No Pude Responder, and the successful poetry collection La Triste Historia de Tu Cuerpo Sobre el Mío. His next album, Apuntes Sobre Mi Paso por el Invierno, appeared in 2014. Signed by Sony Music, Marwan returned in 2017 with Mis Paisajes Interiores. ~ Mariano Prunes
