Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hanging out with one of my best friends in his dad's studio. Messing around on our own Pro Tools account making whatever we wanted -- mostly covers though.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Charli xcx, BRAT Fred again.., Actual Life 3 (January 1 - September 9 2022) Taylor Swift, Midnights (3am Edition) Taylor, Fred Again.. and Charli's range and ability to make a hit song are unparalleled. You can tell they love what they do and do it for themselves and their fans. They do their own thing -- and it's always amazing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Neon Drive” It being my first published song, it alone is special for that reason. However it also sets a precedent for what to top.. I don't expect Neon Drive to be my most popular song, nor my best. And I look forward to making songs better than this one.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Before I was producing music as Malink -- I was an audio engineer. I got to work and hangout with some amazing artist that I have respected for a really long time. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Andrea Day, SYML, Moses Sumney, Icona Pop, and a few others.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My partner and I love the show Love Island. I think it would be awesome to have one of my songs featured on that show one day. I also think it would be a huge accomplishment to be featured on an Apple Music curated playlist.
