About Malcolm Todd
Malcolm Todd's warm songs combine a fluid alternative R&B sound with the emotional outlook of an indie singer/songwriter. Todd began making music at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and released his first EP, Demos Before Prom, in 2022. A second EP, Shower Shoes, followed in 2023, and singles such as "Art House," and especially the viral break-up song "Roommates," garnered attention online. In 2024, he released two more EPs, which were then combined and expanded into the mixtape Sweet Boy. Showcasing his playful and yearning experimental R&B-pop, his official debut album, simply titled Malcolm Todd, landed near the midpoint of the Billboard 200 list upon its release in 2025. Early in 2026, the title track from the nearly two-year-old Sweet Boy enjoyed a surge in popularity and lifted the mixtape onto the Billboard 200.
