About Maik Maurice
Artist Biography
German producer Maik Maurice contributed to the development of trance music in the early to late '90s as one-half of the duo Resistance D, which also features the more well-known producer Pascal Dardoufas. Unlike Dardoufas, who runs the label Planet Vision, DJs, and produces minimal techno as Pascal F.E.O.S., Maurice is strictly a producer and has primarily confined his efforts to Resistance D. However, Maurice has participated in a few one-off collaborations over the years such as Curare (also featuring Ralf Hildenbeutel), Pulsation (also featuring Peter Kuhlmann and Pete Namlook), Trasher (also featuring Michael Kohlbecker), and X-Static Opera (also featuring Frank Blindert). ~ Jason Birchmeier
