Magdalena Hoffmann is the principal harpist of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. She is active as a soloist and chamber musician, designing her concert programs around expanding the instrument's repertoire. Signing an exclusive recording contract with the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label in 2021, Hoffmann issued her first album there, Nightscapes for Harp, the following year. Hoffmann is cultural ambassador for Colombia's Casa Hogar organization, which provides housing and education for girls in the country's troubled Chocó region.
Magdalena Hoffmann has also released music as a member of Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks.
