Twin brothers Nathan and Matthew Leone first garnered public attention as winning contestants on the television reality show FEAR FACTOR, trouncing competitors by successfully performing a series of daredevil stunts and feats of epicurean fortitude. The resulting $50,000 prize money helped the boys get their band Madina Lake off the ground and before long they found themselves signed to Roadrunner Records and playing dates on the Warped Tour. The group's music was a slick, teen pop-infused take on emo and pop-punk, which perfectly meshed with their TV idol good looks and youthful energy.
