Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I saw Bad Brains in 1989 and it was life changing. I didn't know a band could hit that hard, yet play with such feeling and emotion. I was very young and hadn't starting playing music yet. That show made me want to be on that stage.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bad Religion, No Control Rancid, ...And Out Come the Wolves The Suicide Machines, Destruction By Definition If you could sum up our collective influences in just 3 releases, these would best represent the music that moved us. We all have different backgrounds and varying music tastes, but our influence converges with the sounds of these three bands.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Common Foe” Common Foe is just a good fast driving technical punk song. We wrote and recorded this in 2002 and it represents the territory we were heading into. That territory lead us to the latest release "American Road".
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the 2nd stage on Warped Tour in 2003 was amazing. That and the publishing deal that we signed putting our music in skate and surf videos. Pretty cool to have our songs pop up in those videos!
