In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad used to play Giorgio Moroder's soundtracks to "American Gigolo" and "Cat People" in the car all the time. Those beautiful melodies, coupled to driving synthesizers and haunting sounds made an indelible impression.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gary Numan, Telekon Lazerhawk, Dreamrider Shooter Jennings, Countach (For Giorgio) "Dreamrider" inspired us both to team up and make this project. U-235 loves "Countach" and it was a major touchpoint for him during the making of "End.Game." For Sid, Numan's "Telekon" suggested a whole world was hidden in shadow, just out of sight.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bad Science” We wrote "Bad Science" after the "End.Game." album was done. It's really great, and doesn't get a ton of attention because it isn't on the album. But it has all the elements of our sound, plus some deep emotional resonance.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Receiving the first boxes of the "End.Game." vinyl record was incredibly satisfying and emotional. We worked so hard on this record, and neither of us had released vinyl before. Holding it in our hands, putting it on the turntable...it was special.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? U-235 would say he wants us to release more physical media -- an 8-track or a cassette, and get our music in front of more listeners. Sid Luscious says he wants to play the entire "End.Game." album live, with projections, lights, and a full band.
