Before he was even 20 years old, Austrian EDM prodigy LUM!X made a giant mark on the international dance scene.
• His 2019 single “Monster,” featuring Gabry Ponte of the Italian group Eiffel 65, samples the American rock band Meg & Dia’s 2006 indie-rock song of the same name. LUM!X’s “Monster” is an example of “Melbourne bounce,” a subgenre of electro house.
• “Monster” has surpassed 150 million streams and been certified platinum in Austria, German, France, and Switzerland.
• LUM!X is known for his dancefloor-worthy covers of genre-spanning classics like Iggy Pop’s proto-punk opus “The Passenger” and Peter Schilling’s New Wave hit “Major Tom.”
• In 2020, he re-upped with Gabry Ponte—plus electronic luminary KSHMR—for “Scare Me,” featuring one of dance music’s most prolific vocalists, Karra.
