The blind, developmentally disabled British performer known by the first name Lucy (and sometimes as Lucy the Pianist) has gained considerable publicity for her savant-like musical powers. She was an unofficial winner of the competition The Piano on Britain's national Channel 4 television channel in 2023 and has performed at several major venues since then. Lucy appeared at the King's Coronation Concert, celebrating the accession of King Charles to the British throne later that year. She released her self-titled debut album on the Orchid Classics label in 2024.
