In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my mother teaching me to play the piano on our beautiful grand piano at home. She would sit next to me and listen to me play. Music never felt like a chore when I was learning, and I have always felt at home playing the piano.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ludovico Einaudi, Nightbook Massive Attack, Mezzanine Ólafur Arnalds, some kind of peace 'Nightbook' captures my love of Einaudi's atmosphere & melancholy. 'Some Kind of Peace' contains my favourite piece 'Zero' & takes me on a journey. 'Mezzanine' is music from my youth, I grew up to this soundtrack & still love it today.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Solitude” I love the simplicity of this piece and how the music describes the beauty of being alone. It reflects a personal journey of realization that being alone doesn't have to be lonely, and can be a positive time of self-reflection and peace.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being described on BBC Radio as "Such a phenomenal talent" and featured as Radio 3's Composer of the week in the 2023 Coronation Special earlier this year, was definitely a memorable highlight for me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes! I love to collaborate and there are still many producers and artists I'd really like to work with. I also love performing and want to create a new live show with beautiful lighting and production.
