Artist Biography
Toronto native Lou Val specializes in progressive R&B rich in atmosphere. The singer and songwriter is deeply rooted in his city's music scene, but he has set himself apart with his direct, highly personal songwriting and measured vocals. He issued his first commercial singles in 2017, and has since put together concise EPs such as Lonely in Paradise (2018), Tayo and the Dreamer (2021), and Goûter (2022), along with a shapely and more contemplative full-length, Pivot// (2024).
