Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dancing around and playing my toy guitar. Pretending to be Elvis while staring at my KISS poster.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nine Inch Nails, Pretty Hate Machine Rage Against the Machine, Rage Against the Machine Various Artists, The Crow (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) These three albums define my maturation as a musician as I moved on from the fun loving nature of the 80s to the raw emotion of my real life. Each album, in different ways, helped me realize myself as an artist and musician.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “One and Only” I wrote this song as an anniversary gift to my wife and it has become the song that introduced me to the world as a solo artist.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Listeners of a popular rock radio station in Phoenix, Arizona once voted my band Gift of Destiny to win an annual contest. We opened for Red Line Chemistry and Rev Theory. The show was fun but the fact that the listeners chose that made it special.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still haven't played a show as a solo artist. I wonder. How people would respond.
