In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember me and my brother sitting in the living room with my father in our old house in Mexico trying to learn how to play, guitar, accordion, or even singing. As kids, we would spend afternoons learning the norteño music with laughs and love.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Los Cadetes De Linares, Pistoleros Famosos (from "Pistoleros Famosos") (Tema De La Pelicula) Los Invasores de Nuevo León, Aguanta Corazón Los Tigres del Norte, Gracias!... América... Sin Fronteras Those albums we grew up listening to as kids. Most of the songs in those albums are the very first melodies that we learned when starting our musical career. Also, those were the favorite artists of our parents that would bring joy to the family.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Anoche Me Enamoré” This song completely change our musical career making dreams come true. The beat and vocals still give me chills remembering the shows playing that song and people going crazy, and it’s a fan favorite that keeps our spirit alive.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our first concert in Houston after years of playing private events, when in 2014 we saw the crowd singing “Se va, se va”. It felt incredible marking a before and after in our career. That night confirmed that Los Igualados was touching hearts.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing in popular festivals and making our own stadium concerts is a dream for us. Also, recording the most albums that we can, following the steps that the older traditional Mexican bands. We want to share the most songs we can to leave a legacy.
