Formed in the early ’70s, Los Huracanes del Norte are known as one of the most successful norteño bands in history.
∙ The group has had 22 Top 10 albums on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart, including two No. 1s: 1999’s Norteño 2000 and 2000’s En Que Trabaja El Muchacho.
∙ They’ve had three Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, led by 2003’s laidback “Nomas Por Tu Culpa,” which peaked at No. 2.
∙ Los Huracanes del Norte have been nominated for three Best Norteño Album Latin Grammy Awards and one Best Norteño Album Grammy Award.
