Originally a strictly salsa act, the tropical orchestra Los Alfa 8, led by percussionist Ricardo Bustos, incorporated more cumbia rhythms as they evolved. Vibrant love songs and spicy dance numbers have long been the main ingredients for the Colombian orchestra's success.
