The show stars singer/actor Rune Larsen and singer/songwriter Tor Endresen, among others, and spawned a series of soundtrack album releases. Soundtrack albums from the show include Lollipop (1989), Lollipop 2 (1990), and Lollipop Jukebox (1991), all of which were released by the label Noah. Latter-day compilations of Lollipop material include Det Beste fra Lollipop (1995) and 50 Besta fra Lollipop (2009), both of which were Top Ten hits on the Norwegian albums chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier
