Country singer-songwriter Logan Mize quit playing football as a student at Southern Illinois University to move to Nashville and start a band.
∙ He made his Billboard Country Albums chart debut with his second LP, the rock- and pop-tinged Nobody in Nashville.
∙ Mize’s song “Mexicoma” was recorded by country singer and former American Idol contestant Bucky Covington for his hit 2012 album, Good Guys.
∙ In 2013, Mize and his band appeared in a national TV ad with Nashville star Hayden Panettiere as well as in an episode of the TV series Hart of Dixie.
∙ Superstar LeAnn Rimes tweeted about Mize’s bouncy heartbreak tune “Used Up” and invited him to open shows for her in Europe in 2013.
∙ His album Come Back Road debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes Top Country Albums chart in 2017 and has been streamed more than 180 million times.
