∙ The soft-rock harmony group’s 1977 single “Help Is On Its Way” was their only Australian chart-topper and their first to enter the US Top 20.
∙ Between 1977 and 1983, Little River Band had 10 Top 20 singles on the Billboard charts, including “Lonesome Loser,” “Take It Easy On Me,” and “Cool Change.”
∙ Their laidback 1978 hit “Reminiscing” has been played on American radio more than 5 million times, and the love song “Lady” is a close second, with upwards of 4 million airplays.
∙ Famed Beatles associate George Martin produced their sixth studio album, 1981’s Time Exposure, which included the hit “Man On Your Mind.”
∙ The group’s first US compilation, 1982’s Greatest Hits, was certified double-Platinum.
∙ In 2004, Little River Band was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame.
