About LexVeldt
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 8, I taught myself Amazing Grace on the organ by ear after hearing it at my great-grandmother’s funeral. With no training, only emotion and instinct, that moment marked the start of my self-taught journey into classical, spiritual music creation.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Enya, Watermark Hans Zimmer, Interstellar (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [Deluxe Version] Ludovico Einaudi, Divenire Einaudi’s Divenire taught me how minimalism can create deep emotion. Enya’s Watermark inspired my ambient, atmospheric sound. Zimmer’s Interstellar (Deluxe) showed me how cinematic soundtracks can tell vast, intimate stories through music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lullaby of the Unspoken (The Innocent)” Lullaby of the Unspoken (The Innocent)’ is a song I composed 20 years ago, now released for the first time. I played by ear, without formal training, & created it from raw emotion. It represents my early journey into music, driven purely by passion.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A memorable moment was releasing ‘Lullaby of the Unspoken’ after 20 years. Composed by ear as a self-taught teenager, this classical track was created purely from raw emotion. Finally sharing it with the world feels like a dream realized.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list includes performing my music with a full orchestra & collaborating on film scores to bring my cinematic compositions to life. I also dream of reaching listeners globally and creating immersive musical experiences that transcend genres.
