There’s not much that Leslie Jordan hasn’t done over the course of a career that goes back to the ’80s. He’s been all over TV, movies, and the stage; he’s become an LGBTQ icon for his flamboyantly “out” persona; and he’s even been a viral sensation for his hilarious social-media presence. And in 2021, he bumped things up another level by adding “recording artist” to his résumé. Born in Chattanooga, TN, in 1955, Jordan is best known for his work on TV series like Will and Grace and American Horror Story, but he’s appeared on a dizzying array of other shows as well as numerous films including Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday. And he shows off some serious singing chops on his 2021 country-gospel debut album, Company’s Comin’, aided by all-star guests including Dolly Parton, Eddie Vedder, Brandi Carlile, and Tanya Tucker.
