Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was a nervous kid who didn't like to participate in things where others relied on me. My parents signed me up for theatre camp where I vowed I’d be a stagehand. But soon I was auditioning and I've been singing and seeking positive attention since!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? One Direction, Made In The A.M. Deluxe Edition One Direction, Midnight Memories One Direction, Take Me Home Take Me Home, Midnight Memories, Made In The A.M. by One Direction. They changed my brain chemistry and made me a very fan-first artist. Now as an adult, every time I listen, I find something new and interesting that I didn't notice as a tween.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Becoming Unbecoming” Becoming Unbecoming. It took forever to write (3 years), so it's special that it ever saw the light of day. It emphasizes the artist's experience of doubting your abilities but deciding to pursue what you love because your passion is that strong.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable experiences in my career so far is hearing my song on the radio. I truly can't stop smiling as it's happening and my heart has the resting rate of someone being hunted for sport.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to play a festival so BAD. I have yet to be booked for one, but it would be a huge accomplishment to be on the lineup for my favorites (the only ones I've been to) like All Things Go or Bonnaroo.
