Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Enjoying the creativity and sample usage happening during the early years of hip hop. Hearing instrumentals around SF of these bangin' drums with lots of Jazz samples used by pioneers like Dj Premier, Tribe Called Quest and others.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, The Low End Theory Guru, Guru's Jazzmatazz, Vol. 1 (Deluxe Edition) Nas, Illmatic The epitome of Hip Hop and Jazz helping forge the Acid Jazz scene of SF. The backdrop of these hard beats with many live instrumental performers improvising over the top. This sound permeated the underground clubs in SF during the 90's.

Tell us why you chose this song. “All Night” The groove was solid and we loved the drums, then took a ride for a car test (and snacks) and realized the synth sounded like it was a vocoder saying "All Night' so we recorded our voices on our iPhone and added to the track for emphasis.
