Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical moment, i was around 3 years old and was sitting in the studio while my Dad recorded some of the gospel greats
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, BEYONCÉ Kirk Franklin, The Nu Nation Project SZA, Ctrl Dallas is gospel central so growing up i was immersed by talented singers, vocal arrangements & musicality which has had a massive influence on my music. Beyoncé is the most all rounded artist of my generation and Sza is the embodiment of modern R&B
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Boyfriend” Boyfriend is the first song i released since moving to LA. I've had to grow so much since making this move and it has come out in all the music i've created since being here. Boyfriend is the first example of where i'm heading musically.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? This is a hard one. i've had a few releases as an songwriter recently which has been great namely CoCo Jones - Double Back and Plan B. However i think the most memorable moment has been being nominated for 5 Dallas Observer awards
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything! Winning a Grammy, Touring the world, leaving some music in the world that inspires those who come after me.
