Studied at Oxford University, comp. with J.W. Duarte, Vincent Persichetti, Hall Overton, Jacob Druckman, Emmanuel Ghent. Plays guitar and lute. Worked at Bell Labs from 1973-74 and in computer graphics. Created computer music program Music Mouse which eliminates reliance on keyboards, sampled or acoustic sounds. Numerous soundtracks, video projects with Nam June Paik and others, her realization of Kepler's Music of the Spheres was sent into space by NASA.
