Artist Biography

London-based producer and DJ Laurence Guy makes dance music with an emotional aim, embracing feelings of comfort and nostalgia as well as melancholy. His tracks pair well-chosen samples with lush chords, evoking deep house at its most warm and inviting. Releasing music on labels like Church, Shall Not Fade, and Mule Musiq, he has issued over a dozen EPs as well as the full-lengths Saw You for the First Time (2017) and Living Like There's No Tomorrow, But Killing Yourself in the Process (2023). Additional singles like "Most Perfect People (Are Mostly Not Perfect)" appeared in 2024.
