In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is watching my grandfather, Mr. B, perform with his jazz band in San Jose, CA. It was the first time I truly became aware of music, and that moment has stayed with me ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, New Amerykah, Pt. 2: Return of the Ankh Miles Davis, Kind of Blue The Jacka, The Jack Artist I love these three albums for these three reasons: the atmosphere that Miles Davis has, the way Erykah Badu layers her songwriting with carefully chosen samples, and The Jacka brought back some of my best childhood memories growing up in the Bay.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Deacon” My favorite song of mine on Apple Music is "Deacon" from Songs That I Hate to Sing. It takes me back to a very special time in my life. For me, it represents the moment I first felt comfortable with my lane in music, and embracing my story and brand.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments was going on tour with DaniLeigh. We toured 15 cities across the United States. It was my first time truly seeing how far music could take me, and that experience really opened my eyes to the power of music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm excited to release all the music I have inside of me. I want to perform at festivals, headline my own tour traveling internationally. I look forward to collaborating with more artists, pushing the boundaries of what I can create.
