Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 8 years old my family would take me(Porter) and Tate to Carter's Fold, out in Tennessee. There, we watched artists play bluegrass including June Carter.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lord Huron, Strange Trails Manchester Orchestra, A Black Mile To The Surface Mumford & Sons, Wilder Mind The first time I heard A Black Mile was on vinyl, I sat in front of our speakers with the lyric book in hand. It blew me away how intimate a story could be told as I watched it unfold.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ghost Story” Ghost Story has a very intimate meaning for me. It's all about living in past memories for far too long, and finding the meaning and purpose of moving on and forward.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Listening to Rim of The World for the first time after we'd worked on it for years. We were quite proud of what we accomplished.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing on the Jimmy Fallon show, I grew up studying acting and would watch his show every night.
