Musician for hire Randy Smith enjoyed a 15-year career as a professional sideman before he joined the Houston outfit Landslide in the early '90s. Their hard rocking honky tonk has been one of the live highlights of the Southern rock scene. Smith's self-promotional efforts have aided the band to find national exposure.
