London rapper Lancey Foux churns out music grabbing from grime, trap, and R&B.
• The East London native cut his teeth in the mid-2010s with an onslaught of music, including more than 500 freestyles recorded to instrumentals he downloaded.
• In 2015, he broke through with the braggadocious single “About It.” The song, which interpolates Ginuwine's 1996 R&B smash “Pony,” earned more than a million streams.
• Foux collaborated with producer Nyge on the 2017 mixtape A Day at the Nursery.
• He teamed up with Grime legend Skepta for “Dyed 2WICE,” off his 2018 Pink II project.
• In early 2020, Lancey Foux and Playboi Carti teased fans with a short clip of themselves in the studio. Previously, Foux sampled Carti’s “Foreign” for his 2019 song “INDIA.”
