I remember being 5 years old, I was watching a scene from The five heartbeats and I learned the song 'We haven't finished yet" word for word note for note. I remember the passion In her voice, I wanted to move people to way I felt in that moment.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy, Full Moon Kanye West, The College Dropout Kirk Franklin, Hello Fear I often joke and say Kirk raised me. Us both being from Ft.Worth I was able to learn from him up close and he literally changed my life musically. Brandy is the vocal bible and arguably the greatest voices of my time. I pulled from my Church girl roots and patterned this song after a familiar hymn " What A Friend We have in Jesus" From the lyrics to the track this song is a true reflection of me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After my 3rd release My. song Performance peaked at no.32 on the Billboard Gospel Charts. I was able to open up for Tamela Mann during her OVERCOMER TOUR performing my original music for thousands multiple nights.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to do the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Grammys of course, most importantly souls won for the Kingdom of God
