In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We're driving in my mum's Honda Civic up to our house at the far end of Karori. 'Father & Son' comes on the radio and I had never heard honesty and beauty like that. I made a decision to dedicate my life to writing truth in music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn Remastered Talk Talk, Spirit of Eden The Mountain Goats, The Sunset Tree All these albums have at one point given me what I needed to carry on. When I get stuck, when I start to drown in the chatter, music like this can save me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wellington/Te Whanganui a Tara” Memories spring forth when I hear this song. I wrote it in Toronto about earthquakes in Wellington and new love in Auckland.
