Purveyors of romantic, accordion-driven norteño music, Dallas-based Regional Mexican group La Energía Norteña had their first radio hit, “Te Recordaré,” in 2011.
∙ In 2014, the group’s sophomore LP, Cruzando Territorio—featuring their signature song, “El Amor de Mi Vida”—received a Latin Grammy Award nomination for Best Norteño Album.
∙ El Rompecabezas, which included the hit “Malditos Sentimientos,” reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart in 2015.
