In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I’d be in the car with my mom and brother running errands, singing along to the radio. If a song we liked was still playing when we got home, we'd stay in the car, and I'd replace the words I didn’t know with “banana,” humming along with a smile.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Broken Social Scene, Feel Good Lost Kanye West, Graduation New Radicals, Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too Feel Good Lost by Broken Social Scene reminds me that anywhere I go, I'm safe. Maybe You're Brainwashed Too by The New Radicals is rebellious, pop genius. Graduation by Kanye West is a musical score that’s innovative and endlessly entertaining.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Close To U” My favorite song is Close To U with XIXI. I made it in my room during a time when I wasn't very hopeful, and it turned out beautifully, full of hope—a reminder that even in tough times, something great can emerge
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I’d say traveling and working in Berlin. There’s something special about waking up every day in that city, catching a train, and heading off to create music. The energy there is inspiring and unforgettable.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To create a body of work, like an album or EP, that future artists will reference. I want it to inspire and give hope to a generation long after I’m done making music
