Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I saw the opera ‘Turandot’ by Giacomo Puccini when I was a little kid. I remember it so well; it was the first time I consciously saw my parents play. They were having major roles and it was astonishing! - Queen Beatrix was there too that night…
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Frank George Michael, Older Lianne La Havas, Lianne La Havas Amy, George & Lianne have been inspiring till this day. They were a part of my development as an artist and all three albums are equally brilliant!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Let Me Drown You (feat. Artvark Saxophone Quartet)” I had to choose this one because of Artvark. They are an extraordinary Saxophone Quartet and the best out there. One of the members was my teacher at the Conservatory and he taught me a great deal. He is my number one fan now. Cool huh?
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have too many honestly. Working with Steve Reich was certainly something I’ll never forget. But 14/02/23 was the release concert of my debut album “It’s time” in Tivoli. Playing my owns song for so many fans was absolutely liberating! ❤️
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I guess collaborating with more artists that inspire me daily would be a dream. But touring the world and seeing different countries is certainly something I’m aiming for now :)
