What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Portishead, Dummy The Herbaliser, The Herbaliser Band - Session 1 & 2 The Roots, Things Fall Apart They helped shape our sound, these albums blended genres and brough elements like innovative musicality, stellar musicianship, artistic vision, incredible production and cinematic soundscapes. All things Kobayashi strived to include in our music.

Tell us why you chose this song. “2 Cent” This was the first track that came out of the initial sessions for Strange Lights & Resolutions. It was our quintessential opening set song, set the tone for what was to come.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Independently recording and touring to support our projects across Canada and the USA. Of the countless shows standouts are: Montreal International Jazz Fest (2x), SL&R launch at Cabaret JPR, Evolve Fest in NS and our many shows at Le Swimming.
