About Klara Lewis
Artist Biography
Experimental electronic music producer Klara Lewis, the daughter of Wire bass player Graham Lewis, grew up in Sweden and made tentative steps toward making music in 2009. Creating her unique, minimalist music using field recordings, found sounds, samples, and digital manipulation, Lewis debuted with the self-released 2012 EP in 2012. Two years later, all three of its tracks appeared as part of the Editions Mego album Ett, which was quickly trailed by the four-track Msuic EP for Peder Mannerfeldt's self-named label. Another album for Editions Mego, Too, arrived in 2016. A pair of its tracks involved input from Simon Fisher Turner. ~ James Pearce & Andy Kellman
