Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember playing The Beatles Rockband at an old electronic store. I demo'd Day Tripper and I told my mom I wanted to learn how to play the guitar later. I guess this proves that video games can change your life.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Paradis, Recto Verso Seoul, I Become A Shade Toro y Moi, Boo Boo All three of these albums have something in common - nostalgia. While they all have influenced me sonically, the way their melodies and vocals come together is something so beautiful and touching. Always gives me the feels while making me dance.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “My Friend” I consider this song my current magnum opus. I felt very vulnerable and candid, but I think that's what makes the story powerful and special.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at SXSW 2022 was a life-changing moment for me. I've always been used to staying in my little suburban bubble. It was amazing and refreshing to be able to explore the unknown (plus no one knows it was my first time playing live)
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I hope I get to tour outside of California and explore new sights and sounds. Maybe I can document all the different desserts I try at each different city.
