Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory was growing up in Queens New York. There were several musicians I would see in my neighborhood such as Run DMC, LL Cool J, Nas, and etc. Being exposed to greatness at such a young age had a heavy influence on me lyrically.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? JAY-Z, The Blueprint Jill Scott, Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds, Vol. 1 Nas, Illmatic The albums I selected all have a heavy emphasis on strong lyricism. The content written and performed by all of these musicians embodies greatness. I pride myself on doing the same with my lyrical content. It's important that my songs have a message.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Come Winter” This song was therapeutic when I wrote it. It's basically an open letter to my Mother that passed away from breast cancer. My Mother was my best friend. A lot of the core values she instilled in me I still cherish and keep them alive today.
