In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my Dad teaching me 3 chords on guitar as a child & then learning 'With a Little Help from My Friends' by The Beatles
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mumford & Sons, Sigh No More Underoath, Define the Great Line twenty one pilots, Blurryface Twenty One Pilots, Underoath & Mumford & Sons really did all influence me as a person and artist. Define the Great Line opened my eyes to heavier music, Blurryface really changed my life and encouraged me to push boundaries & Sign No More's folkyness
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “KIA ORA” This is one of my first releases in a number of years & marks the start of a new era for me as an artist. It's a personal song about being away from my family when everything was going wrong and it's a bit more of a rocky song than I've done before.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being played on BBC Radio Scotland for the first time really blew my mind! Knowing that my music was going out all over my home country was very memorable & an important step for me as an independent artist.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? For me as an artist. I would love to play some of the iconic venues in Scotland - such as King Tuts, The Barrowlands & The Hydro. I would also love to go on tour with a bigger artist & do my own tour after. It would be amazing to have a song chart
