Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Standing in front of the church choir at age 6, my heart pounding with excitement as I led the song. Suddenly, my microphone went silent, but I refused to stop. In that moment, I learned that no matter what, the show must go on.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aṣa, Asa [Asha] John Legend, Get Lifted PJ Morton, Gumbo Unplugged (Live) These are albums that resonate with me, sharpened my idea for what my sound should be. they are complete.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Me Ne Waa” proposed to my wife with this song, on live national television. I also recorded this song on the day we had our first child. nothing beats that.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Travelling to Amsterdam in 2016 after wining a music competition that had that as the prize.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like my voice to be echoed to the furthest points of the universe, by Nasa. There's also the Grammy.
